| Note: Products are shipped in box-less packaging. To keep our prices low and to keep our environment clutter free, we sell our educational software in what we refer to as CD Only packaging. Most of our software is not packaged in a traditional box. You will receive the program in the jewel case or paper sleeve only. All documentation (instructions, etc.) is on the CD-ROM itself. Simply insert the CD-ROM into your computer and it will prompt you from there. Blue is the star of this Blue's Clues adventure, for kids 3-6, all about reading. Cash Register is out of newspapers to sell. Blue needs your help to find news and create the Big News Gazette. All activities result in stories for the newspaper. Green Kitten and Purple Kangaroo are writing and illustrating stories. Kids listen to stories and then answer questions. As questions are answered correctly the stories are illustrated. There is also a problem with the picture dictionary. The words have fallen off the pictures. Words and definitions are read as children match the word with the correct picture. In the story maker kids make stories with cards that have pictures and words. After stories are created they are read aloud and can then be put in the Gazette. Children find cards all over Blue's world to add to the story maker. Outside is a fun card game to play with Little Paprika, Mr Salt and Mrs Pepper. Children match cards with pictures and words. The first one to match all their cards wins. Mailbox has the scoop on some news but the stories are not finished. Blue needs help to find the chicks party hats at the farm and find a flag for a sandcastle at the beach. There are more fun stories to explore and complete at the farm, beach and neighborhood. In addition to the fun activities, Blue's world is filled with words that are read aloud when children click on them. Kids love Blue's Clues and like the TV show this CD is a sure hit. |
