This CD covers Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Problem Solving in an exciting mystery adventure game. Kids love the Clue Finders series by The Learning Company, where they help some cool kids solve mysteries. The Clue Finders have washed ashore on a volcanic island. They need your help to gather clues, solve the mystery, and make a rescue before the volcano blows.. Kids progress through 16 games and activities that cover over 85 skills. This mystery adventure helps kids learn and enhance important math skills: multiplication, division, fraction, geometry and functions. Children improve reading comprehension, spelling and vocabulary and work on verb tenses, antonyms and synonyms. While exploring kids learn physical and life science along with ecology and environmental awareness. Social studies skills include U.S. Geography, U.S. and World History and cultural diversity. This adventure is full of fun activities. Kids must place tales of the castaways in the correct order to tell a story. Choose the right words and letters to cross a catwalk and combine fractions to connect an airtube. Kids also use Science skills to fix damaged circuits on a mini-submarine to explore the ocean floor. There are many more activities for hours of learning and fun. With four levels of difficulty kids can advance and learn throughout the year. Level four gives kids a head start for 6th grade. Parents can check on kids with the progress report and can also customize the practice mode for extra help in certain areas. |
