Most of our software is not packaged in a traditional box. You will receive the program in the jewel case or paper sleeve only. All documentation (instructions, etc.) is on the CD-ROM itself. Simply insert the CD-ROM into your computer and it will prompt you from there. A great program for current of soon-to-be 4th graders. This CD covers Math, Reading, Science, Geography and Problem Solving. Kids love the Clue Finders series by The Learning Company, where they help some cool kids solve mysteries. In the 4th grade edition, kids embark on a thrilling adventure in Egypt. The Clue Finders are on an archeological dig when they uncover an evil plot to unleash chaos on the world. They need you help to prevent disaster. To get the city of Cairo kids must use multiplication skills to figure out which jeep to take. Once there they build reading comprehension by interpreting reading passages to earn valuable Cairoglyphs. At Nile Kingdom there are many activities including moving blocks of stone while learning about antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms. Kids also develop knowledge in science and learn about decimals. At the ancient pyramids kids must solve word problems to gain access only to find more adventure inside. With four levels of difficulty kids can advance and learn throughout the year. Level four gives kids a head start for 5th grade. Parents can check on kids with the progress report and can also customize the practice mode for extra help in certain areas. This is a great program, fun for the kids and packed with all the skills necessary for success in the 4th grade. |
